The Most Popular Falls in the Smoky Mountain Nature

I believe that anyone who has been to experience the Smoky Mountain nature a few times would agree that by far the most popular waterfall would have to be Laurel Falls.  You can access it quite easily from the Little River Road which connects the Sugar Lands Visitor center and the Cades Cove area.  One beautiful sprig morning I decided to take a look for myself for the purpose of photographing this well known park destination.  I took a few of the traditional shots of the falls that everyone is familiar with. I looked below the where I was standing and soon became more interested in the falls that were falling down below.  I made my way down some boulders and discovered there was a spectacular image to be composed here.  I planted my camera and tripod in the water and began to take some shots.  The results were impressive and from that session I created a photo that I call Lower Laurel Falls.
