My habit of walking on the road

11 February 2010

I have this bad habit when I walk on the road. The main intention behind walking is to get adequate amount of exercise, but I do not mind doing ‘two-in-one’ job! That is, I should be able to get good exercise and at the same time, I should be able to take in all that I come across on the road, be it funny or serious. Let me confess that I am constantly on the lookout for weird things and to this extent, funny vanity plates also form a part of my exploration study. I love reading them and relating to my people later, what I saw.

Our Specialized Car Business is a Success

09 February 2010

My husband and I loved cars and animals, and were wanting to come up with a way to combine both passions into a business.  Then one day, my husband came up with an idea of selling cars, that would have a custom fitted seat, for the pets of the car buyers.  I loved the idea, and we went to work on it right away.  My husband would be in charge of the construction, and I would be in charge of attracting new customers.  For my part I utilized Automotive Direct Mail, to draw in potential buyers.  When our business opened loads of people came in loving the concept of a special seat being constructed for their pets.  This is so much fun, and we plan to do it permanently.

Roadtrip time passers

07 February 2010

As boring and redundant as roadtrip games can be, and whether they are your favorite or least favorite part of taking a roadtrip, they can still be an effective way to pass the time.  The alphabet game is perhaps the most common roadtrip game, where the passengers take turns naming something related to a certain subject by going through the alphabet.  For example, if the subject is different kinds of cars makers you go through the alphabet, naming different cars.  For example when you get to “F” the person could name the ford mustang the the next person has the letter “G” and can name “the Grand Am. This goes on until you make it all the way through the alphabet, then you can pick a different subject.

I Didn’t Need One Yet

06 February 2010

A couple of months ago, a friend and I were driving through town with the windows down.  We had just gotten out of work, and it was a beautiful day outside.  The car that we were in, was the new car that my friend had just bought, since getting his Car Loan.  I was really happy for him, because it meant that we would be able to get to different places when we needed to.  His old car was not very reliable at all.  I thought about applying for a loan myself, so I could get a new car, but I decided that I didn’t need to right away.

Calls for Cars

05 February 2010

My brother received a phone call from a car dealership the other day.  I told him that the dealership was probably calling him because he was a target of Auto Trigger Leads.  He probably had his credit ran recently, an auto lead company got a hold of the information, and then they sold it to the car dealership that called him.  I told him these things happen all the time, and if he is lucky the dealership was dealing with an auto lead company that only sells the information to one place.  Otherwise, he might end up getting phone calls from a lot of different car dealerships.

Fine tune your step

23 January 2010

Fine tune your step cue by going back to the stage of reinforcing what you ask with an aid, if necessary. Walk forward and reinforce the message that the horse is to step with you by tapping its hindquarters with a whip. Stop by turning your body parallel to the horse’s body and blocking its chest with the whip, emphasizing the side that matches the forward front foot. Do a LOT of backing, controlling each stride. Get accuracy. Get only the stride you ask for and no more or less. It is accuracy that makes the horse heed you into the used horse trailers. If you don’t get accuracy you will get disobedience. Remember that if the horse does not enter the trailer, it does not necessarily mean that he is disobeying your step cue. He may not quite understand heeding well enough yet. You may need to go back and work more with basic heeding to confirm your cue.

Life is going to be grand with a me at school, with my friends, transportation and no parents around. Don’t get me wrong, I love my family and especially my parents. The classes don’t worry me, I just can’t wait for independence.

This is really important if you are looking to compare auto insurance quotes: You will easily spend less (really cheap car insurance quote for the right coverage if you have and use the right advice. It is also important that I point out that there are ways that might put you at risk even if they save you for now. Some vocations enjoy more affordable rates. Scientists get the cheapest rates while business owners get the highest rates. Statistics, for instance, shows that scientists (because of their discipline and lifestyle) are better risks than every other profession.

If you want to find out where your vocation falls into and what to do, see your agent. Take note of the fact that, like many things in insurance, the discount you’ll be given will be based on your insurer’s relevancy score of profession as a factor in calculating a profile’s risk.
