When we moved here 18 months ago we never fully appreciated how windy it can get. So when we chose our patio set, we hardly gave a thought to the umbrella that came with it. When we had a summer squall while the umbrella was still out it literally took off. You could just imagine Mary Poppins hanging on for dear life. So we’ve ordered a cast iron patio umbrella stand this time, ready for the windy days when we get them. We’ll also try to remember to take the umbrella down before going out. When I was in the UK, I stayed with my sister who’s married and has a family there. In her home, she has an absolute darling of a dishwasher that I really loved. It was a slimline dishwasher. My niece is coming to live with us for two years. Her dad just received orders for a two year tour of duty in Germany and she does not want to go. We are going this weekend to purchase Children’s Bedroom Furniture for her room. My brother-in-law has offered to pay for it, but we want to do this as a gift.
