The family decided to have our family reunion in Orlando, Florida this year.  They told us they could get us special rates on hotel accommodations, but we had to pay our own way.  Well I decided to get an early start to find orlando flights and book to get the best rate.  I am glad I did.  The cheapest flight was $182 and went up to $245, $359 and $488.  Almost $500 was just too much especially when there was stops so I went with cheapest flight of $182 which was nonstop to get the most for my money since I am on a tight budget.

I am loving the idea of going on a last minute cruise. It’s like several holidays in one, which doesn’t seem to be something that people consider enough. You have one type of holiday when you’re on the boat, with all the on-board activities and things to do, but then there’s a whole separate holiday, when you’re on shore. It’s great for someone like me, because I get bored so easily and I definitely believe that I will not even have the option on this holiday. I am going to have to book two wardrobes though – one for on shore and one for off –  I feel so glamourous!

Whenever I hear my father say something such as, “I can’t believe how fast all this Internet technology is changing. Every day, it seems, there’s a new service to use, or the latest and greatest software package to test drive. It reminds me of the early days of TV,” I chuckle inside, because I know he’s right. My sister and I decided to take a photography class. We want to learn more about the proper techniques of taking a picture. Our mother raised us with a camera in her hand. She wanted to document our lives. I appreciate that now that I am older. She was an amazing mother. Our next class is tomorrow and we are going to do a hdr tutorial. I am looking forward to learning more about this process. My sister said it makes a big difference and is not as hard as most people think it is. We are both very excited for tomorrow nights class.
