Five tries
I couldn’t believe I had to try five different cape town hotels before I found one that had any vacancies for the upcoming weekend. I guess due to the fact that it is a long weekend, lots of people are probably heading there with their families. I’m usually much more organized at sorting out these things but it was very much a last minute decision that my wife and I made to head over there. Even though it’s not exactly a big getaway for us as it is only about an hour away, it will still be nice to have a change of scene, even if it is only for a couple of nights.
