Merrell running shoes are a not close to being market leaders in the running shoe market, but they do have a loyal and growing following. Merrell Cruise Control, Merrell CT Marquis, Merrell CT Stamina, Merrell ST Stature, Merrell CP Paragon and the Merrell CT Converge are the types of shoes that are included in the range. In 1981 the company was founded by Clark Matis, Randy Merrell, and John Schweitzer. And in 1997 they sold the company to wolverine worldwide. They started by designing and producing a range or performance outdoor footwear, including running shoes. They recently release a clothing range to supplement the footwear.
